A Firefly Flew By

This is a children’s full-color picture book about two frogs who are brothers, and the dilemma they face when the ‘slicker, quicker one’ swallows a ‘glowing firefly’ which lights his belly! If frogs could talk to us what would they say? In If Frogs Could Talk, frogs do talk to special children all over the world to tell them how important frogs are and that they need help from us. One of those frogs, Harold teaches his new friend Grace all about frogs, how they live and what makes them important and why we need to help save the frogs.

Artist, Amanda Makepeace

Amanda Makepeace is an artist living and working in Athens, Georgia, and drawing and painting have been an important aspect of her life since she was a child.

For the past four years she has been living abroad, on the south-west coast of England. Her paintings have been sold across the UK and were recently viewed at the Oval House Theatre in London. In early 2008, Amanda returned to the USA with her family.
