Donations

Amphibian Ark is accepting donations and inviting gift givers worldwide – corporations and individuals – to join in one of the greatest species conservation programs in the history of humanity. Amphibian Ark must raise $50-$60 million to save 500 of the most endangered species. While a $100,000 corporate or philanthropic gift allows a donor to “adopt” a frog species (or a toad, newt, salamander, or caecilian) and have the option to join scientists on a rescue mission, Amphibian Ark is asking for donations of any size to ultimately help the Ark set sail and bring amphibians to safe harbor.

Holiday gift givers can make a difference! Gifts in the name of kids or loved ones to Amphibian Ark can help avert the crisis. Donations to this global effort to save frogs and other amphibians can be made in the name of friends, family members, and/or employees. If you want to receive this beautiful gift card (see picture on the right) click on the Pay Pal button below and before you submit your donation you will get a field where you can enter the name of the donor and the name of those you have donated for. You will be sent  one card for each person in whose name you have donated.

For questions please contact elizabeth@cbsg.org.

100% of funds donated to Amphibian Ark will be spent on ensuring a long-term future for threatened amphibians, and donations to the Amphibian Ark are tax-deductible for most US tax-payers.

Sapos - a beautiful new book from Ecuador

Our friends from Ecuador have done it again, this time using the surreal patterns and colors of naturally beautiful amphibians in combination with and as inspiration for graphic art. This book is nothing short of amazing and once again, confirms that nothing is as unique and inspiring as nature itself. Sapos covers dozens of frogs from Ecuador with fantastic imagery, both natural and man-made in its 256 pages.

Reproduction, camouflage and other life history aspects are included. With a forward by William Duellman and introduction by the authors, the need to cherish and protect these precious natural treasures is made quite clear. With their highly successful Sapari public exhibit on amphibians and the Balsa de Sapos breeding program, the Colomas group has elevated amphibians to knew levels of importance and public awareness in Ecuador and around the world.

Thanks to the generosity of the authors, we have a group of these wonderful books available to help raise funds for amphibian conservation through the Amphibian Ark. A donation of $100 plus $5 shipping will get you a copy of this limited edition masterpiece. For more information, contact:
Ron Gagliardo. To obtain your own limited edition copy of this book, please click the Donate button below:
