Book on the Glass frogs of Costa Rica, Libro de las ranas de vidrio de Costa Rica

by Brian Kubicki

(spanish also, see below)

Hello Everyone,

My book on the Glass frogs of Costa Rica was recently published through the National Institute of Biodiversity (INBio) of Costa Rica . Like most INBio books it is in a Spansh/English format. It contains just over 300 pages and 190 color photos. All the photos included in the book were taken by myself, except of course for the one of me that my wife took. This book represents a large part of the last 12 years of my life, and the reason I moved to CR nine years ago.

2000 soft-covered and 100 hard-covered books were produced.

In Costa Rica soft cover copies are available at bookstores that carry INBio titles, INbio, or through myself. For anyone interested in obtaining a hard copy please contact me personally. For people outside Costa Rica please contact my mother in the U.S. via
www.cramphibian.com

I am sending a
pdf of the book cover.

And keeping with the subject matter I am also sending an additional pdf of a recent publication through the journal from the Museo Nacional de Costa Rica (Brenesia) on the rediscovery of
Hyalinobatrachium talamancae in Costa Rica . The article is from the September of 2006 issue, but just came out last week.

I hope you all are doing well.

Thank you,

Brian Kubicki

Muchas gracias,

Brian Kubicki
