AArk Shop
Amphibian Ark must raise
$50-$60 million to save 500 of the most endangered species. While a $100,000
corporate or philanthropic gift allows a donor to “adopt” a frog species (or a
toad, newt, salamander, or caecilian) and have the option to join scientists on
a rescue mission, Amphibian Ark is asking you to support the companies below, as
a percentage of the sales made from these books and other products are being
generously donated to the Amphibian Ark.

Creatures
4 Kids
For a fun and functional
tribute to frogs everywhere, check out our Red-eyed Tree Frog hat at
www.creatures4kids.com.
When you purchase any hats using this link, Creatures 4 Kids will donate 10% of
the profits from those sales to the Amphibian Ark to help fund global amphibian
rescue efforts.
Creatures 4 Kids realizes the long-term educational impact of having children
and adults “become the creature” in order to instill a fascination and love for
wildlife that will hopefully last a lifetime. We have designed a large selection
of functional, high quality, polar fleece hats in fifteen adorable animal styles
(with more on the way). Because we want to decrease our carbon footprint
whenever possible (and support local economy), 100% of our hats are manufactured
in the U.S.A.! As educators we also believe it is important to teach our
customers about wildlife, so we created educational hang tags that are attached
to each hat before it leaves our company.
We hope you’ll visit us at
www.creatures4kids
and help support the Amphibian Ark by purchasing a creature hat!

Swarovski Crystal Bejeweled Frog Belts
Fresh from a sparkling Emmy Red
Carpet success highlighted by Christina Applegate (SAMANTHA WHO), Marcia Cross
(DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES) and Alfre Woodard (PICTURES OF HOLLIS WOODS) who wore her
bejeweled bags for the star-studded evening, designer Kathrine Baumann has
decided to give back to the environment by donating funds from the sale of her
glittering gold and green frog belts to support the global efforts of The
Amphibian Ark.
The Green Lemur Leapfrog belt is spotted with stunning emerald green Swarovski
crystals against a glittering peridot body. The Golden Panamanian Frog belt is a
glistening play of topaz crystals against a light Colorado body. Both belts will
retail for about $500.00 a piece. The frogs were originally created to symbolize
movement, fun and taking a magical "leap of faith.” This season fashion and
conservation come together beautifully to support the preservation of a beloved
amphibian. Baumann’s re-release of her animal inspired belt collection comes at
a time when the designer herself has decided to become more involved in
environmental philanthropy. Baumann’s bejeweled lions, tigers, eagles, panthers
and zebras are expected to be a hit among accessory addicts this spring.
Inspired to enhance and continue the 2008 global public awareness campaign “The
Year of the Frog” started by AArk, Baumann is delighted to be involved in a
project aimed at protecting one of her favorite creatures.”. In support of the
Animal Planet Documentary. THE VANISHING FROG, hosted by wildlife biologist,
Jeff Corwin and all the efforts of the amphibian conservationists world-wide 15%
of the sales from Baumann’s bejeweled belts will be donated to the Amphibian Ark
starting in November 2008.
For more information please

If frogs could talk to us what would they say? In "If Frogs Could
Talk", frogs do talk to special children all over the world to tell
them how important frogs are and that they need help from us. One of those
frogs, Harold teaches his new friend Grace all about frogs, how they live
and what makes them important and why we need to help save the frogs.
Harold is very happy that this is the year of the frog and wants to donate
half of all the profits from this book to Amphibian Ark, a most worthy
organization that realizes just how important frogs are. To find out more

"The Digital Frog 2.5"
Research study proves that virtual frog dissection is a more effective learning tool than traditional dissection
The Digital Frog 2.5 engages
students with an interactive, virtual dissection, allowing the student to
learn each of the cuts necessary by "cutting" with a digital scalpel before
watching the full screen video. The CD also makes learning anatomy an
enjoyable experience, by allowing students to have fun and learn through
exploration and discovery. Animations and interactions allow students to see
how the frog's body works—from blood pumping through the heart, to joints
that can be built up and moved by the user.
Fifty per cent of
sales will be donated to the Amphibian Ark. Click to visit the
Digital Frog International web site.
