Dominican Republic Program Coordinator
Laura is a Dominican biologist dedicated to Conservation Biology, specializing in amphibians and reptiles—more specifically, she works with the genus Eleutherodactylus. She is also the coordinator for Conservation and Restoration for EcoBahía Bávaro. Her main interests, besides conservation, are ecology and bioacoustics. At AArk, she coordinates efforts to enhance amphibian ex situ conservation in Dominican Republic, engaging institutions to establish and implement conservation projects for endangered species and towards drafting an amphibian conservation plan in the country.
